Ginkgo

This simple and elegant collection has a story behind it.​

Alexandra has always been tempted to make jewellery inspired by the Ginkgo leaf but with so many on the market she didn’t until finally she was asked to make one for a very special gift. It needed to be flat yet still hold the quality of a real leaf and this she achieved by adding some movement to it.​

Alexandra enjoyed carving it and loved making her own interpretation, not a direct replica just a leaf with the feel of a Ginkgo.​

​The ginkgo tree symbolises many things of which longevity, hope, peace, vitality, strength, love and endurance are some.​
