Victoriana Poppy Collection

Inspired by sentiment and meaning behind the giving of jewellery and the memory of loved ones.

When I created the first Poppy I was thinking about Remembrance Day and the fact that Poppies are here to help us remember our loved and lost. Obviously, there is greater meaning behind them also.

I wanted to make something a little different than just a direct representation. So I carved a three petal poppy… you don’t find three petal poppies in nature. They have the essence and feel of a poppy without being an exact replica. 

Likewise the Double poppy has six petals and a very delicate feel about it.
