Inspired by the sentiment and significance behind the gift of jewellery and the memories of loved ones, Alexandra created the first Poppy with Remembrance Day in mind, recognising the role of poppies in honouring those we have lost. The meaning behind these flowers extends beyond remembrance, capturing a deeper essence.
Alexandra aimed to craft something unique rather than a direct representation, resulting in her design of a three-petal poppy—an interpretation not found in nature. These pieces embody the essence and feel of a poppy without being exact replicas. Similarly, the Double Poppy features six petals and possesses a delicate, ethereal quality.
