Heron's Love Necklace

A hand-carved Heron pendant cast into sterling silver with a pink tourmaline nestled into the reverse which sits upon your heart chakra. The Heron is strung on a 50cm/20” polished Singapore style chain and fastened with a clasp.

It has an elegant and contemporary feel and interestingly started off as a White Egrit but evolved into a Great Blue Heron, one that Alexandra often spies down on the banks of the river Thames in Richmond. As always there is an extra twist to Alexandra's interpretation... most of the detail is visually correct however in the case of this particular carving she has stylised the legs to tie in with the curve of the body giving it an elegant and contemporary feel.

This miniature sculpture can work well as a sit alone piece and also combined with a healing gemstone as an elegant drop or as a detail on the back, adding extra visual interest.

The spiritual meaning of seeing a heron… patience, grace and good luck. Some people believe that Great Blue Herons are spiritual messengers bringing wisdom from God.  They are a reminder that God is looking out for us and to ask if we need help as well as to follow our own path and purpose and not to worry about the opinion of other.
